CHALLENGE
Plinqit, a leading company in the financial technology sector, wanted to embark on a journey to enhance its AWS infrastructure, seeking the expertise of nClouds. Plinqit’s technological landscape presented several hurdles, primarily identified through a Well-Architected Framework Review with nClouds.
The key challenges included the need to fortify security by implementing a multi-account structure using AWS Control Tower. Plinqit aspired to modernize its infrastructure, launch six new AWS accounts, and efficiently deploy its production EKS and Elastic Beanstalk workloads. The aim was to align with industry best practices, enhance security, and meet compliance standards.
THE SOLUTION
After completing the Well-Architected Framework Review, the nClouds team was able to improve its security stance by implementing a multi-account structure leveraging AWS Control Tower.
In response to Plinqit’s challenges, nClouds also devised a comprehensive solution leveraging the AWS Jumpstart Funding Program. The step-by-step approach involved the creation of High-Level Architecture documentation for the new infrastructure. Six new AWS accounts were configured, and essential components like Control Tower, IAM Identity Center, Transit Gateway, VPNs, and WAFs were deployed. This orchestrated effort resulted in a secure, scalable, and modern landing zone for Plinqit’s production workloads.
